Defined - Projects, Phases, and Updates

This site follows a simple protocol when it comes to project management, publicity, and organization.

Projects are a collection of tasks and activities that have a beginning and an end.

Once a Project has been added, you can add Project Phases to the Project to break out sets of activities.  This can make a large project easier for visitors to digest and provide an opportunity to publicize discrete parts of a project.

Project Updates can be used  add relevant information to a Project or a Project Phase.  Your Project Updates can contain extremely important details or simple update; either way, it should be related to a project, and you don't want to obscure your project with irrelevant Project Updates.

In short, Project Updates are grouped within Project Phases or Projects, and Phases are aggregated within their parent projects.

You will also notice that Blog Entries are aggregated in both locations.  Blog Entries allow the public to start discussions on the site, and to converse with project team members.
