It seems that at times you are short on manpower. I have a few ideas and I apologise if this is redundant.
1. There is a national fraternity called the Triangles. Triangle limits its membership to students majoring in engineering, architecture, and the sciences. This seems to be the type of person that may be ideally suited for your project. If so, if might be of value to develop a on-line presentation that you could send to each chapter or have someone visit the chapters and make presentations of your behalf. The goal would be to get your message out to a community who may have needed skills, spread the mission goal statement and possibly recruit more Farm members as needed.
2. Have you considered talking with different Universities to see if elective class credit could be awarded if a student spent a summer or a month a the Farm? Students are always looking for extracurricular activities.
3. Have you considered inviting people up for the a week/weekend of work with the goal of showing them the Farm and and sparking interest for a longer time commitment?
Just some random thoughts
